Jennifer is a local attorney ready to represent those in need of legal assistance in the Tri-Cities. Her practice focuses on defense throughout Benton and Franklin Counties. Jennifer and her husband Torey grew up in the Tri-Cities. Jennifer is a native of Eastern Washington; attending local schools, involved in community activities, playing sports and graduating from Kamiakin High School in Kennewick. Jennifer attended Washington State University (Go Cougs!) completing her undergraduate studies in 1996. She received her juris doctorate in 2000 from Gonzaga School of Law in Spokane.
Jennifer is an experienced attorney focusing primarily on Juvenile Law in the past several years. She is an active member in good standing with the Washington State Bar Association since 2000 a member of the local Benton-Franklin County Bar Association as well as Director of the Washington Women Lawyers - Southeast Chapter. Mrs. Azure is a knowledgeable prosecutor and defense attorney having briefed, argued motions, tried cases to both the bench and jury at both the misdemeanor, felony and appellate levels. As a former prosecutor she has a unique working knowledge of police and prosecution practices, providing our office with a distinct advantage and peculiar perspective. Jennifer is honored to serve as Judge Pro Tem for Benton County District Court since 2012, Pasco Municipal Court beginning in 2016 and Benton-Franklin Superior Court since 2016. Jennifer was also awarded a Judicial Fellowship in 2017 through the Judicial Institute.
Jennifer and Torey are lucky to be close to their extended family in the area. The Azure, Lampson, Reid and Moe families all remain in the local Richland, Pasco and Kennewick area and have been in the community since the early 1900’s. The Azure family has three, wild, kids to keep them on their toes and provide with endless entertainment!
